The Tapestry of Life

Were I to leave a message,
to those who’re standing there,
I’d tell you not to worry,
there’s no need to despair.
Life goes on for the living
as well as for the dead,
It’s just a simple passing
without pain, fear or dread.
I’m here to continue growing
to learn and try to see,
To understand the meaning
of what was meant to be.
Life is but a tapestry,
though you cannot see it there.
From where I am, I can see the art,
the patterns strong and clear.
You must keep hope, you must believe,
you must trust to your very soul
That when you die and wake again
the meaning will unfold.
